Add a section where authors can request reviews on their own websites. Alternate possibility would be to create a plugin that displays all Booksprout reviews on an external website so that reviewers do not need to copy/paste their review onto the author's site.
Use Booksprout for beta readers
Instead of a reader having access to a review copy right away, give the author the option to approve/reject a reader first.
Whenever you see a reviewer's name on the Booksprout, it would be nice to see if they're already blocked, invited to a team, etc. This would apply to review campaign participants and reviews.
If an author uploads a new ebook file for their book, we could send a notification to readers to inform them. Perhaps a setting to let authors decide if we should send this notification or not would be useful as well, so they can only use it when substantial change have been made that would make it worth grabbing the new file.
Hello, I want my books to be reviewed on Scribd as well. Could the developer add it to the list of websites please. It's just one extra option but that would make a HUGE difference for me. Moreover since it's just a matter of pasting your book url I think the option of adding your own retailer link where your book is available should be an option. I publish through aggregate platforms and they have many retailer links. (ex:Publishdrive) Thanks!
As of now, you can only message readers who have left a review. A message all button would be a great feature. Some way for the author to send a mass email or message to all people who have claimed a book (update for reviewers, extra info, etc.) would be great.
Show how genre perform compared to others on Booksprout
To prevent readers from downloading multiple books by the same team and not leaving reviews.
I want audiobooks to have their own tab. They get lost with books.
Many authors like me are focusing on direct sales. It would be really great if Booksprout could add in a direct store link along with the other links we enter for our ebooks and audiobooks. That way, people can leave reviews on our stores and on the retailers, and it would really help indie authors like me out.
A bit like Facebook does, where you can have some questions before accepting someone on your review team.
When scheduling a review campaign for the future, I'd like to set a time of day for it to go officially live and for the new review copy available email to go out to followers.
Have a way to quickly re-run a review campaign
In cases where the books are available on Booksprout, make sure readers have actually read and reviewed the previous books.
Ask readers which Amazon store they can review on so that authors know where they should be expecting reviews to show.
Give an option to block readers if they haven't left their review within X amount of time.
I'd like the author side of the new Booksprout to be easier to use on mobile devices. Right now it's too wide for my screen.
